An ENT followup

So last night we tried out the new shoes on a 3 mile walk, and tonite, again the same, and they feel great! I'm looking forward to taking them on an 8 mile walk on Saturday.

In other news, I took D back to the ENT today for his post-op visit. The good news...he said the tubes look great! He also said that it will probably be another week before he shows any hearing improvement. He tends to think that D won't have any permanent damage which I am SO thankful for!! We go back in a month for a hearing test, but don't have to go back for another followup for 4 months, yay! So we can move past that for a bit and now its on to worrying about the first day of school coming up in 11 days!!

All this ear stuff was actually keeping my mind off of it for awhile but now its back full force. We get to meet his teacher next week, and I'm currently working on a packet of info about all his issues to give her.
